1. What is the purpose of the organization ?
Our purpose is to have a Franchisee organization that is the official voice of all Subway® Franchisees, one that is truly representative, autonomous and accountable to the Subway® Franchisee community. In addition, this organization will work with DAI, SFAFT, IPC and the Development Agents on business growth and profitability and strengthening our investment in the brand.

2. What do you do differently?
We employ professionals to guide and advise us in effectively representing Franchisees. We produce and own our communications vehicles to communicate most effectively with Franchisees. Staff members focus solely on the association's issues and priorities. Ultimately, being an independent association allows us to do and say what we need to do for the Subway® Franchisee community.

3. How do I benefit by joining this association?
All Subway® Franchisees benefit by having one strong voice with the leverage to give them "a seat at the table" with the franchisor, DAI. Additional member-only benefits are also available, such as discounted meeting registrations. Click here for more information on member benefits.

4. What is the structure of the NAASF organization?
The NAASF consists of a 14-member, national board elected by its dues-paying members from North America. Local NAASF chapters are formed by Franchisees locally and report to the national board. NAASF is staffed by professionals who oversee the association's day-to-day operations including administration of the association, communications initiatives, and financial management.

Multi-unit owners ("MUOs") are represented the same as other Subway® Franchisees. MUO issues will also be addressed in special seminars and meetings designed for multi-unit owners.

14. Why does the NAASF represent only North America?
All Franchisees are represented by the NAASF, but international Franchisee issues often differ significantly from those of Franchisees in the established marketplaces of the U.S. and Canada. International Franchisees are more than welcome to become NAASF members. However at this time, we do not feel we can effectively represent them or address their specific needs.
Are you a Franchisee in Australia? Your Franchisee association, AASF, can provide you with more details on this sister organization to NAASF. Please contact us at info@naasf.org for contact information.

NAASF also communicates with its members via e-mail (make sure we have your most recent e-mail address!*) and mailings. In addition, the Association also mails an annual report to all of its dues-paying members. *Please note: One of our most expeditious methods of communicating with our members is via e- mail. Please be sure to let us know if your e-mail address changes so that we can keep you informed and up-to-date on NAASF news and information!
